- The first official images from the "Poltergeist" reboot directed by Gil Kenan, produced by Sam Raimi and starring Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt, Kennedi Clements and Jared Harris. The film opens in theaters on July 24th.
- Three new images from Brad Bird's sci-fi adventure "Tomorrowland" starring Britt Robertson, George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Judy Greer and Kathryn Hahn. Opens in theaters on May 22nd. Visit the official website at takemetotomorrowland.com/.
- Three new images for Guillermo del Toro's new horror film "Crimson Peak" starring Mia Wasikowska, Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain. Opens in theaters on October 16th.
- The first image from the dramedy "Ricki and the Flash". The film is directed by Jonathan Demme ("Silence of the Lambs"), written by Diablo Cody ("Juno") and it stars Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline, Sebastian Stan, Rick Springfield and Mamie Gummer. Opens in theaters on August 7th.
POLTERGEIST
Legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi ("Spiderman," "Evil Dead", "The Grudge") and director Gil Kenan ("Monster House") contemporize the classic tale about a family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces. When the terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and hold the youngest daughter captive, the family must come together to rescue her before she disappears forever.
TOMORROWLAND
From Disney comes two-time Oscar® winner Brad Bird’s “Tomorrowland,” a riveting mystery adventure starring Academy Award® winner George Clooney. Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.” What they must do there changes the world—and them—forever.
Featuring a screenplay by “Lost” writer and co-creator Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird, from a story by Lindelof & Bird & Jeff Jensen, “Tomorrowland” promises to take audiences on a thrill ride of nonstop adventures through new dimensions that have only been dreamed of.
The film also stars Hugh Laurie as brilliant scientist David Nix, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key and Thomas Robinson. “Tomorrowland” is produced by Damon Lindelof, Brad Bird and Jeffrey Chernov and directed by Brad Bird, with John Walker, Brigham Taylor, Jeff Jensen and Bernard Bellew serving as executive producers. “Tomorrowland” opens in U.S. theaters on May 22, 2015.
CRIMSON PEAK
A young woman (Wasikowska) is swept off by her feet by a charismatic suitor (Hiddleston) and taken back to his ancestral home. There she finds more than she bargained for, including a jealous sister (Chastain) and more than a few skeletons in the closet.
RICKI AND THE FLASH
Three-time Academy Award® winner Meryl Streep goes electric and takes on a whole new gig - a hard-rocking singer/guitarist - for Oscar®-winning director Jonathan Demme and Academy Award®-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody in the uplifting comedy Ricki and the Flash. In a film loaded with music and live performance, Streep stars as Ricki, a guitar heroine who gave up everything for her dream of rock-and-roll stardom, but is now returning home to make things right with her family. Streep stars opposite her real-life daughter Mamie Gummer, who plays her fictional daughter; Rick Springfield, who takes on the role of a Flash member in love with Ricki; and Kevin Kline, who portrays Ricki's long-suffering ex-husband.
