5 New Comic Book Style JUPITER ASCENDING Posters

Jupiter Ascending Posters

Five new awesome-looking posters for "Jupiter Ascending" have been released online. Written and directed by Andy and Lana Wachowski ("The Matrix Trilogy", "Cloud Atlas"), the film is a very original-looking space opera but has had some internal issues that determined the filmmakers and studio to delay its release by seven months. Even more alarming is the fact that early word from advanced screenings is that the film is pretty bad. Still, I loved every movie the Wachowskis ever made, and I'll probably enjoy this one as well. No matter how bad the film might be, the posters are gorgeous and perfectly capture the space opera vibe with a creative comic book style. The film stars Mila Kunis, Channing Tatum, Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Tuppence Middleton, James D’Arcy, Tim Pigott-Smith and Doona Bae.

"Jupiter Ascending" opens in theaters on February 6, 2015.

Check out the posters after the jump.

Official Synopsis

"From the streets of Chicago to the far-flung galaxies whirling through space, “Jupiter Ascending” tells the story of Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis), who was born under a night sky, with signs predicting she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people’s houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along—her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos."
