Box-Office: THE HOBBIT Finale Scares Off THE WOMAN IN BLACK 2

Box office report The Woman in Black 2 The Hobbit

"The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" is proving to be unstoppable at the box-office. The final chapter in the Middle-Earth prequel trilogy held on at the top with a $21.9 million weekend, which brings its domestic total to $220.7 million. "Into the Woods" and Angelina Jolie's "Unbroken" also proved remarkably resilient with $19 million and $18 million, respectively.

This week's only wide release, the horror sequel "The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death" managed a fourth place opening with $15 million, which might not seem all that great but is in fact pretty good given the film's low budget and expectations.

New Wide Releases: "The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death".

Biggest Drop : "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" (-46.5%)

Smallest Drop : "Big Hero 6" (-3.8%)
