The first trailer and images for Lucasfilm's animated feature "Strange Magic" have been released. The film is based on a story by George Lucas who drew inspiration from "A Midsummer Night’s Dream", and it focuses on goblins, elves, fairies and imps, and their hilarious misadventures sparked by the battle over a powerful potion. The film is a musical and it uses popular songs from the past six decades to help tell the tale. The voice cast features Alan Cumming, Evan Rachel Wood, Kristin Chenoweth, Maya Rudolph, Sam Palladio, Meredeth Anne Bull, Alfred Molina, Elijah Kelley, Bob Einstein and Peter Stormare.
