David Fincher's mystery thriller "Gone Girl" claimed its second weekend as the No.1 movie at the box-office with $26.8 million, ahead of Universal's "Dracula Untold" which scored a $23.4 million opening. The classic monster reboot had more success overseas where it grossed $62 million.
At No. 3 we have Disney's "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" which grossed $19 million, a good result for the $28 million film. The other wide release of the week, the drama "The Judge" starring Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall opened with a disappointing $13 million, placing 5th in the top 10.
This week's surprise is the sexy thriller "Addicted" which despite opening in just 846 locations, managed to debut with $7.6 million for a surprising 7th place.
