Listen to Hans Zimmer's Superman Theme from the MAN OF STEEL Soundtrack

If you really loved the music from the "Man of Steel" trailer, you now have the chance to listen to the full song, which was released today via Soundcloud. The track, which is Superman's new theme, is called "An Ideal Hope" and it's the typical Hans Zimmer power-anthem that he's so great at writing, complete with explosive percussions and blasting heroic brass. "Man of Steel" is directed by Zack Snyder and stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Laurence Fishburne, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane. The film opens on June 14, 2013.

Official Synopsis

"In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Cavill) is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions.
