  • This is the piece of news everyone's been waiting for. Will Ferrell will return as Ron Burgandy in a sequel to the 2004 comedy "Anchorman". Returning alongside Ferrell are Steve Carell and Paul Rudd, as well as writer/director Adam McKay and producer Judd Apatow. Filming starts February 2013. Below is a video of Ron Burgandy's official announcement on Conan's show.

  • The upcoming TV series featuring the good doctor Hannibal Lecter is moving forward. The story, written by Bryan Fuller ("Pushing Daisies") will focus on Lecter's collaboration with FBI agent Will Graham, before Graham eventually discovered Lecter's favorite hobby. Hugh Dancy ("The Big C") was cast as Will Graham and the series' pilot episode will be directed by David Slade ("Hard Candy", "30 Days of Night").

  • Release Dates :
    • "Invertigo" - March 7, 2014. A science fiction disaster film directed by D.J. Caruso ("Disturbia", "I Am Number Four"). The story deals with a long-lost NASA space probe contaminated by "dark energy" that crashes on earth, disrupting and reversing Earth's gravitational force. Skyscrapers and bridges are ripped from the ground and rivers "rain from the sky" as a team mounts a mission into upside-down Manhattan to avert the planet’s destruction. Eat your heart out Ronald Emmerich

    • "The Hangover Part III" - May 24th, 2013. The wolfpack is back, again. This time, hopefully, with an original plot and not a by-the-numbers remake of the original. Production begins this September with all the cast and crew members returning.

    • "300: Battle of Artemisia" - August 2, 2013. Directed by newcomer Noam Murro, the sequel stars Eva Green, Rodrigo Santoro and Sullivan Stapleton, and apparently takes place during the same time as the first movie.

  • Melissa Leo joins Tom Cruise in the sci-fi actioner "Oblivion", directed by Joseph Kosinski ("Tron: Legacy"). The story takes place in the post-apocalyptic setting of an alien-devastated planet Earth and focuses on a former-soldier currently-exiled mechanic who gets involved in an eye-opening chain of events. The movie also stars Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko and Nickolaj Coster-Waldau. Scheduled for release on April 26th, 2013.

  • Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio team-up once again for "The Wolf of Wall Street", a drama written by "Boardwalk Empire" creator Terrence Winter and based on "Jordan Belfort's memoir of his days as a hard partying, drug addicted stockbroker who was indicted in 1998 for security fraud and money laundering and served a 22-month federal prison stretch." Filming begins this August in New York.
