In Theaters : WANDERLUST (2012)

Official Synopsis: George (Rudd) and Linda (Aniston) are an overextended, stressed out Manhattan couple. After George is downsized out of his job, they find themselves with only one option: to move in with George's awful brother in Atlanta. On the way there, George and Linda stumble upon Elysium, an idyllic community populated by colorful characters who embrace a different way of looking at things. Money? It can't buy happiness. Careers? Who needs them? Clothes? Only if you want them. Is Elysium the fresh start George and Linda need? Or will the change of perspective cause more problems than it solves?

Genre: Comedy

Critical Response : Mixed. Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd are charismatic leads but even they can't rescue "Wanderlust" from its uneven script and cheap humor. While some critics found some redeeming scenes in the movie, the general consensus is that the movie's narrative flow is broken because it feels like they just pasted a series of skits together. Even the closing-credits blooper reel was deemed unfunny. It's not all hopeless but it's a very, very mixed bag. Rated 56% on Rottentomatoes.com from 36 positive and 28 negative reviews (Average score : 5.7 out of 10)
