Synopsis: A suburban family is torn apart when fourteen-year-old Annie (Liana Liberato) meets her first boyfriend online. After months of communicating via online chat and phone, Annie discovers her friend is not who he originally claimed to be. Shocked into disbelief, her parents (Clive Owen and Catherine Keener) are shattered by their daughter s actions and struggle to support her as she comes to terms with what has happened to her once innocent life.

What to Expect : Strong drama with a great ensemble of actors, particularly young Liana Liberato, who pulls off an excellent performance as the teenage rape victim. It's not an easy movie to watch, but it is definitely worth it. A brilliant directorial debut from David Schwimmer (
"Friends") who tackles the difficult topic with both sensitivity and unflinching dedication to the story. One of the best movies of the year.
