Official Synopsis : This is a romantic comedy set in Paris about a family that goes there because of business, and two young people who are engaged to be married in the fall have experiences there that change their lives. It stars Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Kathy Bates, Carla Bruni, among others. --(C) Sony

What to Expect : Another skillful romantic comedy from the master of the genre, Woody Allen. Granted, it might not be as intriguing as his other works, but one can't deny the man's still got it. And who can say no to such a great cast.

Critical Response : Lots of love from the critics, as was quite evident from the warm welcome it received at Cannes. Stephen Whitty from the Newar Star-Ledger remarked that the movie is closer to his earlier comedies, and his sunniest effort since "Mighty Aphrodite", while Lou Rumenick from the New York Post mentioned the movie's handsome cinematography. One upset critic went as far as saying that "The groupie-like celebration of Allen's doubled-up cultural insecurity and ambition represents a global degradation of culture standards." Obviously, you can't please them all. The movie is 90% fresh on Rottentomatoes.com with 45 positive reviews and only 5 negative ones.
