WGA Award goes to INCEPTION

"Inception" has registered its first solid win in the major awards race : the Writer's Guild Award for Original Screenplay. It's also the first time Christopher Nolan has received any significant recognition, having been nominated several times in the past for Guild awards. The competition for Nolan will be tougher at the Oscars as "The King's Speech", awards favourite so far, was denied a nomination at the WGA, because of its strict rules. The Adapted Screenplay Award went to Aaron Sorkin for "The Social Network". The full list of winners after the jump :
