"A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai" is a new anime series based on the Japanese light novel series written by
Masuo Kinoko and illustrated by
Senbon Umishima, Katsuki Onda and
Susumu Kuroi. The novel won both the Grand Prize and the Readers' Prize of the 9th Alphapolis Fantasy Novel Award. Alphapolis started publishing the novel series in January 2017, releasing 16 volumes to date. The manga adaptation illustrated by
Tomozo has released eight volumes since November 2018. The entire series, including digital editions, has printed 1.95 million copies to date.
The anime series is directed by
Yoshinori Odaka (
"Mr. Villain's Day Off"), with series composition handled by
Gigaemon Ichikawa (
"A Galaxy Next Door") and character designs by
Mayumi Watanabe (
"Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms"). Tatsunoko Production and SynergySP will both work on the anime production.
The opening song it titled "Prologue" and is performed by VTuber group
Nornis, while the ending theme song is "Mugen Trip" performed by the two-piece Japanese rock band
Nakigoto. The voice cast includes
Nobunaga Shimazaki, Ayasa Itō, Makoto Koichi, Toshiyuki Morikawa and
Satomi Sato.
"A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai" is set to premiere in Japan on October 6, 2025. Meanwhile, the series had an early streaming premiere on U-NEXT and Crunchyroll on September 29, 2025.
