Written and directed by Andrew Niccol ("Gattaca", "The Truman Show"), the sci-fi thriller "Anon" stars Clive Owen as a troubled detective in a world where privacy and anonimity are a thing of the past. Amanda Seyfried plays a woman who has found a way to cheat the system and evade the government's overwatch, and who may be the detective's only way to solve a series of murders committed by a killer who doesn't seem to exist.

The film also stars Colm Feore, Sonya Walger, Mark O'Brien, Joe Pingue, Iddo Goldberg, Sebastian Pigott and Rachel Roberts.

"Anon" was released on May 4, 2018 via Netflix, and also opened in theaters in the U.K. on May 11th. The film received mixed reviews from critics.

"Sal Frieland is a detective in a world with no privacy or anonymity; where everyone’s lives are transparent, traceable, and recorded by the authorities; where crime almost ceases to exist.
