The sixth and final season of the comedy series "The Mindy Project" premiered on September 12th, 2017 via Hulu. The single-camera comedy created by and starring Mindy Kaling follows a young and skilled Ob/Gyn doctor who struggles to balance her personal and professional life. The new season finds Mindy navigating the ups and downs of marriage and raising a child.

Chris Messina is set to return for multiple episodes, and Reese Witherspoon will guest star. The cast also includes Garret Dillahunt, Ed Weeks, Ike Barinholtz, Beth Grant and Adam Pally.

The second episode of "The Mindy Project" Season 6 will be released on September 19th.
