SNEAKY PETE Season 1 Trailer and Poster

The pilot for Amazon's original series "Sneaky Pete" premiered on August 7th, 2015, as part of the company's policy of offering pilots for their viewers and letting them decide whether they'd like to watch it as a full series. And it did receive a series order, also becoming one of Amazon's most watched and highly reviewed pilot. It's surprising then that Amazon has taken so long before finally releasing it.

The show is created by "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston and "Dr. House" creator David Shore, and it stars Giovanni Ribisi as a con man who runs from his past by assuming the identity of his cellmate, Pete. The plot complicates further when he reunites with Pete's estranged family and a gangster holds his brother hostage for ransom.

The cast also includes Marin Ireland, Margo Martindale, Libe Barer, Shane McRae, Michael Drayer and Peter Gerety.

The remaining nine episodes of "Sneaky Pete" Season 1 will premiere on January 13th.

Check out the trailer and poster after the jump.

Official Synopsis
"In Sneaky Pete, con man Marius, with nowhere else to turn, takes cover from his past by assuming the identity of his cellmate, Pete, and then “reunites” with Pete’s estranged family—who have no reason to suspect he’s not their long-lost loved one. When a gangster holds his brother hostage for ransom, Marius must find a way to free him while at the same time struggling to keep his lies from backfiring. Meanwhile, his new “relatives” are a colorful group who give him a taste of the loving family he’s never had, but have secrets and lies of their own that threaten to drag Marius into a world every bit as dangerous as the one he’s trying to escape."
