HALO WARS 2 Atriox Story Trailer

A new trailer for 343 Industries' real-time strategy game "Halo Wars 2" was unveiled, and it's all about the plot, introducing the game's villain, Atriox, a Brute enslaved by the Covenant who eventually rose up against his masters and became a legend. The story is set in the year 2559 and it introduces a new alien faction called the Banished alongside the humans' United Nations Space Command. The single-player campaign will feature thirteen missions and a co-op mode.

"Halo Wars 2" will be released on February 21, 2017 for Xbox One and PC.

"His name is Atriox, a Brute enslaved by the Covenant who eventually rose up against his masters and became a legend. His rebellion inspired the birth of The Banished, a savage army of mercenaries and killers now on the brink of acquiring the most powerful weapons platform the galaxy has ever seen. The only things between Atriox and his prize are Captain James Cutter and the crew of the UNSC Spirit of Fire. Outgunned and long past any hope for reinforcements, Cutter’s survival depends on how quickly he can master the first law of the battlefield: Know your enemy."
