"T2: Trainspotting" is a sequel to Danny Boyle's 1996 classic based on Irvine Welsh's novel. Boyle returns to direct and the story follows Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) twenty years after the first film, as he reunites with his old friends Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), and Begbie (Robert Carlyle). Kelly Macdonald, Shilery Henderson and Simon Weir co-star.
"T2: Trainspotting" opens in the U.K. on January 27, 2017 and in the U.S. on March 3rd in limited release and nationwide on March 10th.

"First there was an opportunity……then there was a betrayal. Twenty years have gone by. Much has changed but just as much remains the same. Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) returns to the only place he can ever all home. They are waiting for him: Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), and Begbie (Robert Carlyle). Other old friends are waiting too: sorrow, loss, joy, vengeance, hatred, friendship, love, longing, fear, regret, diamorphine, self-destruction and mortal danger, they are all lined up to welcome him, ready to join the dance."
