A new trailer, as well as a few images and posters for Jordan Vogt-Roberts's epic blockbuster "Kong: Skull Island" have been released online. The story follows a team of explorers who are brought to an uncharted island in the Pacific, and I think you can guess what happens next.
The film is a reboot origin story in the vein of Gareth Edwards' 2014 "Godzilla". The latter reboot will also come into play later on as Warner Bros. is planning a crossover "Kong vs. Godzilla" movie. The cast features Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, John C. Reilly, Tian Jing, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Thomas Mann, Shea Whigham, Toby Kebbell and Eugene Cordero.
"Kong: Skull Island" will open in theaters on March 10, 2017.
