THE WAILING (GOKSUNG) Trailers, Images and Posters

Today we have the official trailers, images and posters for the Korean mystery thriller "The Wailing" ("Goksung").

The film focuses on the arrival of a mysterious stranger in a quiet rural village in the mountains of South Korea, which causes suspicion amongst the villagers. Soon after his arrival, a mysterious sickness starts spreading and the residents begin to kill each other for no apparent reason. Panic engulfs the village, and when the daughter of the investigating officer falls under the same savage spell, he calls in a shaman to protect her and assist in trying to solve the mystery.

Written and directed by Hong-jin Na ("The Chaser"), the film stars Jun Kunimura, Jeong-min Hwang, Woo-hee Chun and Do Won Kwak.

"The Wailing" opens in theaters on June 3rd in the U.S. (limited release) and July 6th in France.

Official Synopsis
"The arrival of a mysterious stranger in a quiet rural village causes suspicion amongst the villagers- but as they begin killing each other for no apparent reason, that suspicion turns to panic. When the daughter of the investigating officer falls under the same savage spell, he calls in a shaman to assist in finding the culprit."
