HBO has released the first trailer, images and poster for the eight-part limited series "The Night Of".

Created by Steven Zaillian ("American Gangster") and Richard Price ("The Wire"), the series delves into the intricacies of a complex New York City murder case with cultural and political overtones. The cast features John Turturro, Riz Ahmed, Poorna Jagannathan, Syam M. Lafi, Bill Camp and Amara Karan.

"The Night Of" starts on Sunday, July 10th with a 90-minute premiere, followed by seven 60-minute episodes.

"THE NIGHT OF is an eight-part limited series created by Steven Zaillian (“Schindler’s List,” “American Gangster”) and Richard Price (“The Color of Money,” HBO’s “The Wire”). Starring John Turturro (“Fading Gigolo,” “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”) and Riz Ahmed (“Nightcrawler”), and directed by Steven Zaillian from teleplays by Price and Zaillian, the limited series delves into the intricacies of a complex New York City murder case with cultural and political overtones. The story examines the police investigation, the legal proceedings, the criminal justice system and the feral purgatory of Rikers Island, where the accused await trial for felony crimes."
