The Internet has provided the first set photos and videos featuring Keanu Reeves on the set of "John Wick 2", the sequel to last year's instant cult classic directed by Chad Stahelski and David Leitch.
Stahelski returns to helm the new installment, but not much else has been revealed about the plot, except that it's expected to open up the world of the Hotel Continental, the institution that caters to the needs of assassins, with the only rule that no business can be conducted on the premises. The good news is that judging from the new footage, it's still about Reeve's titular character kicking ass.
The film's main villain, a head of security for a female crime lord, will be played by Common, while original cast members Lance Reddick, Ian McShane, Bridget Moynahan and John Leguizamo are set to return. Ruby Rose, Peter Stormare, Margaret Daly and Riccardo Scamarcio co-star.
"John Wick 2" will be released sometime next year.
