LOVE & MERCY Trailer, Featurettes, Images and Poster

Love and Mercy movie trailer, featurette, images and poster

Today we have the official trailer, two featurettes, a batch of photos and a poster for the biopic "Love & Mercy". The film is the directorial debut of producer Bill Pohlad ("12 Years a Slave", "The Tree of Life") and it chronicles the life of Brian Wilson, singer, songwriter and leader of The Beach Boys. Paul Dano ("There Will Be Blood") stars as Brian in the 1960s as he struggles with emerging psychosis while crafting his pop masterpiece, while John Cusack plays him in the 1980s as a broken, confused man under the 24-hour watch of shady therapist Dr. Eugene Landy (Paul Giamatti).

The film has been earning solid reviews from critics, most of whom have been raving about Dano and Cusack's performances. The cast also features Elizabeth Banks, Jake Abel, Kenny Wormald, Dee Wallace and Max Schneider. The script is penned by Oren Moverman ("The Messenger") and Michael A. Lerner.

"Love & Mercy" has begun a limited release in theaters today.

Check out the trailer, featurettes, images and poster after the jump.
