TERMINATOR: GENISYS TV Spots and Poster Add More Spoilers

terminator-genisys-new-tv-spots-and-poster

The latest international TV spots and a new poster for "Terminator: Genisys" take the spoilers a bit further and continue where the last trailer left off. We already knew that Alan Taylor's reboot was altering the original timeline, but the last trailer also added a new twist to the plot as Sarah Connor's (Emilia Clarke) son, future resistance leader John Connor (Jason Clarke) has been turned into a cyborg and sent back in time to kill his mother. Meanwhile, Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) looks like he isn't left much to do here. The TV spots also add more background regarding the "Genisys" title which apparently relates to some Cyberdyne app that will potentially be responsable for Judgement Day. And the film's final poster makes the spoiler official by including the John Connor cyborg front and center.

The film also stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Byung-hun Lee, Matt Smith, J.K. Simmons, Courtney B. Vance and Sandrine Holt.

"Terminator: Genisys" opens in theaters on July 1, 2015. I just hope that by the time it opens there will still be something left to see.

Check out the TV spots and poster after the jump.

Official Synopsis
"Terminator: Genisys begins by treading the territory of James Cameron’s original The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, with adult John Connor (Jason Clarke) sending trusted military confidant Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back in time to battle a Terminator that has also been sent back in time with the purpose of killing Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and, therefore, preventing John from ever being born. But when Courtney’s Reese lands in the year 1984, things are very different, as Sarah is already fully aware of the Terminator threat and is much more the hardened warrior of T2 rather than the (justifiably) confused civilian from The Terminator."
