New TERMINATOR: GENISYS Trailer Gives Away the Whole Movie

A new theatrical trailer for "Terminator: Genisys" has been released online along with a few more images. The new trailer for director Alan Taylor's reboot is much more detailed in terms of plot, and adds some entertainment value, but I also get the feeling that I've seen most of the film's major twists.

While the previous trailer revealed that Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and an aging guardian version of the T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) were waiting for the arrival of Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) in 1984, this new trailer also adds the twist that John Connor (Jason Clarke) has been somehow turned into an advanced type of cyborg and sent back in time to be a bad guy and kill his own mother. This reboot just gets crazier with every new trailer.

The film also stars Byung-hun Lee, Matt Smith, J.K. Simmons, Courtney B. Vance and Sandrine Holt.

"Terminator: Genisys" opens in theaters on July 1, 2015.

Check out the new trailer and images after the jump.

Official Synopsis
"Terminator: Genisys begins by treading the territory of James Cameron’s original The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, with adult John Connor (Jason Clarke) sending trusted military confidant Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back in time to battle a Terminator that has also been sent back in time with the purpose of killing Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and, therefore, preventing John from ever being born. But when Courtney’s Reese lands in the year 1984, things are very different, as Sarah is already fully aware of the Terminator threat and is much more the hardened warrior of T2 rather than the (justifiably) confused civilian from The Terminator."
