In Theaters: MAD MAX: FURY ROAD, PITCH PERFECT 2, GOOD KILL, SLOW WEST

in-theaters-mad-max-fury-road-pitch-perfect-2-good-kill-slow-west

This week everyone forgets about "Avengers: Age of Ultron". Why ? Because "Mad Max: Fury Road" is here and it is 98% fresh on Rottentomatoes.com. It's such a rare feat for a blockbuster movie to receive scores reserved for arthouse flicks, that it deserves some kind of award just for that.

The other wide release of the week is the sequel "Pitch Perfect 2" starring Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Hailee Steinfeld. It doesn't have amazing reviews but it's been getting better scores than I was expecting, which means fans of the first film will be pleased with the new installment.

The limited releases include the thought-provoking drama "Good Kill" starring Ethan Hawke and the western film "Slow West" starring Michael Fassbender and Kodi Smit-McPhee. Both have been receiving solid reviews. More about each movie after the jump.

Synopses, details, critical reception, trailers, clips and more after the jump.
