More Glorious Madness in New MAD MAX: FURY ROAD Trailer and Poster

Mad Max Fury Road Insane Trailer

A new trailer and poster for George Miller's "Mad Max: Fury Road" have just been released. The trailer adds even more madness to what was previously teased and I didn't even think that was possible. We also get some more plot details and some moody voiceovers to go with all the craziness. The art direction in particular has me intrigued. The original trilogy was also about post-apocalyptic madness and survival, but this reboot makes those movies look like G-rated family films. At this point, I'm not sure I even care if there's an actual plot to sustain all the action. I just want to take in all that glorious madness. The film stars Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Nicholas Hoult, Riley Keough, Zoe Kravitz, Courtney Eaton, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Nathan Jones and Abbey Lee Kershaw.

"Mad Max: Fury Road" opens in theaters on May 15, 2015.

Check out the trailer and poster after the jump.

Official Synopsis
"Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.

“Mad Max: Fury Road”—the fourth in the franchise’s history—stars Tom Hardy (“The Dark Knight Rises”) in the title role, alongside Oscar winner Charlize Theron (“Monster,” “Prometheus”) as the Imperator, Furiosa. The film also stars Nicholas Hoult (“X-Men: Days of Future Past”) as Nux; Hugh Keays-Byrne (“Mad Max”, “Sleeping Beauty”) as Immortan Joe; and Nathan Jones (“Conan the Barbarian”) as Rictus Erectus. Collectively known as The Wives, ZoĆ« Kravitz (“Divergent”) plays Toast, Riley Keough (“Magic Mike”) is Capable, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (“Transformers: Dark of the Moon”) is Splendid. They are joined by supermodel Abbey Lee as The Dag and Courtney Eaton as Fragile, both of whom are making their big screen debuts. Also featured in the movie are Josh Helman as Slit, Jennifer Hagan as Miss Giddy, and singer/songwriter/performer iOTA as Coma-Doof Warrior. The cast is rounded out by well-known Australian actors John Howard and Richard Carter, supermodel Megan Gale, Angus Sampson, Joy Smithers, Gillian Jones, Melissa Jaffer and Melita Jurisic."
