Charlize Theron is getting ready for more action roles following "Mad Max: Fury Road". The actress is set to star in "The Coldest City", a spy thriller based on the graphic novel of the same name by Antony Johnston. The film will be developed by "John Wick" helmers David Leitch and Chad Stahelski before moving on to "John Wick 2".
The story will focus on a spy (Theron) who becomes involved in a conspiracy kicked off by the murder of an underground MI6 officer just before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Theron will also produce and the script has been written by Kurt Johnstad ("300: Rise of an Empire"). Production is set to begin this October in Germany.
