Jack Huston and Jessica Brown Findlay to Star in THE CROW Remake

Jack Huston joins The Crow remake
Jessica Brown Findlay to Star in The Crow Remake
"The Crow" remake has proven to be a difficult endeavour for Relativity. The studio's been having a hard time holding on to directors and lead actors, the most recent actor to walk out being "Fast and Furious 6" star Luke Evans. However, it seems that things are looking up for the remake.

James O'Barr, the creator of the original graphic novel which inspired the 1994 film starring Brandon Lee, confirmed that Jack Huston ("Boardwalk Empire") has been cast as Eric Draven, the man resurrected as a vengeful spirit:
"Jack Huston has definitely been cast. [I'm] really happy with that choice [and the film] will shoot in a couple of months."
New reports also indicate that Jessica Brown Findlay ("Downton Abbey") will star as Draven's fiancée, Shelly Webster.

The remake is said to stick much closer to the source material, which includes dialogue between the crow and Draven, something that was present in the comics, but was not used in the original film. The script for the new adaptation has been penned by Cliff Dorfman ("Warrior") and it will be directed by Corin Hardy ("The Woods").
