A preview of the closing credits song for "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" has been released online. The song, titled "The Last Goodbye", is co-written and sung by Billy Boyd who played Pippin in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. It's a good song, but I'm not entirely thrilled about it. It's similar in tone and style to "Into the West", the Oscar winning song from "The Return of the King", but the musical theme doesn't feel as powerful. Still, it's probably the best song from all "The Hobbit" moves.

"“The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” brings to an epic conclusion the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield and the Company of Dwarves. Having reclaimed their homeland from the Dragon Smaug, the Company has unwittingly unleashed a deadly force into the world.
