The first trailer for the historical drama "Libertador" has been released. Edgar Ramirez ("Carlos") stars as South American revolutionary Simon Bolivar. The film is directed by Alberto Arvelo from a script by Timothy J. Sexton ("Children of Men"). Maria Valverde, Danny Huston, Imanol Arias and Gary Lewis also star.

Official Synopsis
"Simon Bolivar fought over 100 battles against the Spanish Empire in North America. He rode over 70,000 miles on horseback. His military campaigns covered twice the territory of Alexander the Great. His army never conquered -- it liberated."
