The first trailer for "The Equalizer" has been released. Antoine Fuqua ("Training Day") directs this action film, which is based on the 1980s TV show of the same name. Denzel Washington stars as a former black ops commando who becomes a vigilante of sorts when he attempts to save a young girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) from the Russian mafia. There are high hopes for this movie. Sony has already greenlit a sequel. The film also stars Marton Csokas, David Harbour, Bill Pullman and Melissa Leo.

"In The Equalizer, Denzel Washington plays McCall, a former black ops commando who has faked his death to live a quiet life in Boston.
