More details have surfaced regarding "Jurassic Park 4". First of all, the official title has been announced. The sequel will be named "Jurassic World". Although the plot has not been revealed, the title certainly confirms that the sequel will also serve as a reboot, existing as an independent entity from the original trilogy and pointing to both a franchise and, possibly, a larger narrative scope. Secondly, Universal has announced the official release date for the sequel: June 12, 2015. The film is directed by Colin Trevorrow ("Safety Not Guaranteed") and the script has been penned by Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. The first draft of the script was written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver ("Rise of the Planet of the Apes"). "Jurassic World" will be released in 3D.
