Natalie Dormer has joined the cast of the final two
"The Hunger Games" sequels titled
"Mockingjay Part 1" and
"Part 2". Dormer will play Cressida, a film director from the Capitol who joins the rebellion along with her crew and will assist Katniss (
Jennifer Lawrence) throughout her journey.
Natalie Dormer can also be seen in this year's F1 drama
"Rush" and
Ridley Scott’s
"The Counselor".
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" Part 1 and 2 will be directed by
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" director
Francis Lawrence (
"I Am Legend",
"Constantine") and the screenplays have been written by
Danny Strong (
"Lee Daniels' The Butler",
"Game Change").
Liam Hemsworth,
Josh Hutcherson and
Phillip Seymour Hoffman have been confirmed for the sequels, and
Julianne Moore is rumored for the role of Alma Coin.
"Mockingjay - Part 1" opens on November 21, 2014 and
"Mockingjay - Part 2" will arrive in theaters on November 20, 2015.
