Teaser Trailer for THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE

The first teaser trailer for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is here at last. Directed by Francis Lawrence ("Constantine", "I Am Legend"), the sequel will continue the story of Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), who now participates in the Victors’ Tour along with Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). A revolution is brewing and President Snow (Donald Sutherland) is determined to destroy Katniss' triumphant image and then eliminate her altogether. The trailer is full of intense scenes and dialogue, but teases none of the action from the new games featured in the sequel, the so-called "Quarter Quell", in which past winners of the Hunger Games must fight to the death.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" also stars Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Elizabeth Banks, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Jeffrey Wright and Amanda Plummer. The film is scheduled for release on November 22, 2013.

Official Synopsis

"THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever."
