Hayley Atwell ("Captain America: The First Avenger", "The Duchess") has joined the cast of Kenneth Branagh's "Cinderella". There are no details available at this time about Atwell's role. The film is a new Disney adaptation of the classic fairy tale and the script is written by Chris Weitz ("About a Boy", "American Pie") and Aline Brosh McKenna ("The Devil Wears Prada", "We Bough a Zoo"). An all-star cast has already been assembled. Lily james ("Downton Abbey") is set to star as Cinderella, Richard Madden ("Game of Thrones") as the prince, Cate Blanchett as the wicked stepmother, Sophie McShera ("Downton Abbey") and Holliday Grainger ("The Borgias") as the stepsisters, Stellan Skarsgard ("Thor") as the Grand Duke and Helena Bonham Carter as the fairy godmother. Disney has set the release date for "Cinderella" on March 13, 2015.
