Paramount has released the first official images from "Jack Ryan", the reboot of the famous Tom Clancy character, who was also the protagonist of such movies as : "The Hunt for Red October", "Patriot Games", "A Clear and Present Danger" and "The Sum of All Fears". The new movie stars Chris Pine ("Star Trek") as Jack Ryan, Keira Knightley as his wife and Kevin Costner as Ryan's CIA liason. The movie is directed by Kenneth Branagh ("Thor"), who also stars as the movie's villain. The plot involves ex-Marine Jack Ryan working as a Moscow-based financial analyst who uncovers a plot by his employer to finance a terrorist attack designed to collapse the U.S. economy. The release date has been set for Christmas Day, 2013.
