What to Expect : Don't expect too much and you'll get all you need from this silly holiday family flick. It might not become your all time favorite movie, but it's still an enjoyable heartfelt comedy.

Critical Response : Mixed to positive. Even though the silly premise was a little hard to swallow and there is a significant quantity of cheesiness involved, there were still plenty of critics who liked it, thanks mostly to Matt Damon's performance. The general consensus is that "We Bought a Zoo" is a flawed, but fun holiday movie. Rated 62% on Rottentomatoes.com from 63 positive and 39 negative reviews (average score 6.3 out of 10).
