Genre: Comedy, Adventure, Family, Animation

What to Expect : What more could be said about "Alvin and the Chipmunks". It's loud, dumb and pointless. On the other hand it is aimed at children, so expectations can't be set too high.

Critical Response : Negative. Critics called "Chipwrecked" and empty distraction, with gags of poor taste and very close to being inappropriate for children. Its short running time is a blessing. According to a majority of reviews, the third in the Chipmunks franchise lands way below family film standards. Rated 10% on Rottentomatoes.com from 5 positive and 45 negative reviews.
