TITANIC 3D Release Date Announced

The famous kiss, now in 3D
James Cameron's historical epic "Titanic", winner of 11 Academy Awards and destroyer of box-office records will receive the 3D treatment and will be re-released in theaters on April 6, 2012, in time for the 100th anniversary of the Titanic's maiden voyage, which as we all know did not end too well. Now the movie itself avoided disaster in 1997 and became one of the biggest, most beloved and most hated (all at the same time) movies ever made. Cameron's decision to rework it in 3D is controversial primarily because there's an ongoing issue about whether or not movies shot in 2D can be successfuly converted to 3D. Frankly, if anyone is to succeed in doing that, it's James Cameron, whose perfectionism and limitless budgets will ensure he won't miss his mark. Besides, he's the one who started all this 3D mess, so he'd better deliver. I guess we'll find out in less than a year from now.
