Fresh off "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", leading man Johnny Depp and director Rob Marshall can look forward to another collaboration. The movie they will work on next is a crime comedy called "The Thin Man", a remake of a 1934 movie. Depp will play a detective who solves a murder mystery with the aid of his wealthy wife. The original was nominated for four Oscars, including Best Picture. No actress has been cast as the wife for now. All that is know so far is that it will be produced by Lucamar Productions (Rob Marshall and John DeLuca) and will be written by Jerry Stahl ("Bad Boys II", quite a resume killer). Like any other project, it sounds interesting, especially when such big names are involved, although I generally have a bad opinion of remakes and find them usually pointless. No doubt it will be a classy show, considering Marshall's experience and Depp's acting skill.
