"The Crystal Cuckoo" is a Spanish thriller limited series created and written by Jesus Mesas and Javier Andres Roig based on the novel of the same name written by Javier Castillo. The series was directed by Laura Alvea and Juan Miguel del Castillo. The cast includes Catalina Sopelana, Alex Garcia, Itziar Ituno, Ivan Massague and Tomas del Estal. The miniseries premiered on November 14, 2025 on Netflix.

"The Crystal Cuckoo is a limited series based on Javier Castillo's successful novel, a psychological thriller that mixes mystery, emotions, and unexpected twists.

A young medical resident suffers an unexpected heart attack and receives a transplant that saves her life. After the operation, the donor's mother invites her to her town to discover who her son was. But what seemed like a revealing encounter soon turns into a nightmare full of secrets.
