"Afterburn" is a post-apocalyptic action film directed by J.J. Perry ("Day Shift", "The Killer's Game") from a script by Matt Johnson and Nimród Antal ("Predators") based on the Red 5 Comics graphic novel of the same name by Scott Chitwood, Paul Ens and Wayne Nichols. The cast includes Dave Bautista, Olga Kurylenko, Kristofer Hivju, Samuel L. Jackson and Daniel Bernhardt. The film was released in select theaters on September 19, 2025, and on October 21st it was released on digital platforms.
