My Status As An Assassin Obviously Exceeds The Heros Anime Series Trailers Clips Images Posters

"My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's" is a new anime series based on the Japanese light novel series written by Matsuri Akai and illustrated by Tōzai. A manga adaptation illustrated by Hiroyuki Aigamo began serialization on Overlap's Comic Gardo website in July 2018. The total circulation of the entire series (including both print and digital) exceeds 1.5 million copies. Seven Seas Entertainment releases an English-language version of both the light novel and manga editions.

Nobuyoshi Habara directs at animation studio Sunrise. Kunihiko Okada ("Yowamushi Pedal") provides the series composition, Hirona Okada ("Gundam Build Metaverse") and Kaoru Saito ("Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury") provide the character designs, Rihiro Yamane ("The Brave Express Might Gaine") provides the monster designs and Satoshi Igarashi ("TOKYO LOGIC") provides the music.

The opening theme song is "Issen" ("Flash") performed by Japanese virtual duo VESPERBELL, while the ending song "Like Gravity" is performed by Japanese singer-songwriter BONNIE PINK.

The voice cast includes Takeo Otsuka, Saku Mizuno, Sanae Kobayashi, Konomi Tamura, Junichi Suwabe, Ayato Morinaga and Masaaki Mizunaka. The English dub features Austin Tindle, James Cheek, Matt Holmes, Kieran Flitton, Erin Kelly Noble, Gerardo Davila, Rebecca Danae, Brian Mathis and Garret Storms.

"My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's" premiered on October 7, 2025 and streams on Crunchyroll worldwide.

"Akira Oda and his high school classmates are summoned to another world! While the other students are granted cheat abilities through the summoning, Akira merely gains the abilities of a mediocre “assassin.” However, his status soon surpasses “hero,” the strongest profession. After Akira becomes suspicious of the King behind the summoning, he is falsely framed for a crime and forced to flee."
