Set years after the events of Biomech Hell, Codename: Black Crow follows Aurora, a young soldier trained by the war legends Rock and Stan — better known as Thunderflash. Once a child soldier in a remote area of Mexico, Aurora carries a painful past, revealed through focused, impactful dialogues and illustrated hi-res anime-style scenes that enrich the game’s retro atmosphere.
Codename: Black Crow is the direct sequel to Thunderflash and Biomech Hell, reinvented with a fresh formula blending fast-paced run & gun arcade action with exploration, crafting, and light RPG mechanics. Start with a knife and a handful of rations in a hostile land swarming with enemies. Use your radar to explore over 100 areas, gather resources, clear outposts, find new gear, and craft upgrades at workbenches. Level up, unlock new blueprints, and face off against brutal bosses and challenges.
Codename: Black Crow was originally planned as Thunderflash 2, a pure arcade-style sequel even more fast-paced and explosive than the original. But as the story expanded, the project grew into something bigger — a new, standalone adventure for Aurora. We didn’t want to leave Thunderflash 2 behind though, so it’s been integrated as an unlockable bonus inside Codename: Black Crow. Complete the main campaign to unlock this retro shooter experience.
