"The Senior" is a biographical sports drama directed by Rod Lurie ("The Contender", "The Outpost") from a script by Robert Eisele. The film is based on the true story of Mike Flynt who, at age 59, became a college football linebacker. Produced by Mark Ciardi ("The Rookie", "Secretariat") and Justin Baldoni ("It Ends With Us"), the film stars Michael Chiklis, Mary Stuart Masterson, Brandon Flynn, James Badge Dale and Rob Corddry. "The Senior" opened in theaters on September 19, 2025.
