NECRONOMICO AND THE COSMIC HORROR SHOW Anime Series Trailers, Images and Posters

"Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show" is a new anime series produced by Cygames. Directed by Masato Matsune ("Reign of the Seven Spellblades") at Studio Gokumi, the show features story draft and series composition by Makoto Uezu ("KONOSUBA"), character designs by Jiro Suzuki ("Revenger"), and music by Evan Call ("Frieren: Beyond Journey's End").

The voice cast includes Riho Sugiyama ("Minare in Wave", "Listen to Me!"), Nana Hazumi, Manaka Iwami ("Akane in Oshi no Ko"), Reiji Kawashima, Atsushi Tamaru, Hazuki Ogino, Taichi Ichikawa, Kyohei Natsume, Hiroki Yasumoto, Manaka Iwami, Kazuyuki Okitsu, Katsuyuki Konishi and Ayasa Ito.

The opening song is "Kakusho-ron" performed by Ryushen, and the closing song is "PANDORA feat. Noa (from Colorful Peach)" performed by Vell. The series started streaming on Crunchyroll on July 1, 2025.

"Miko Kurono, also known as Necronomico, graduates from middle school and decides to pursue her dreams of becoming a streamer. One day, as she’s with her childhood friend, Mayu Mayusaka, and her rival, Kanna Kagurasaka, she accepts an offer to play a new VR game. The game gives Miko the opportunity to take on mysterious challenges with other unique streamers she meets within the VR world."
