"Betrothed to My Sister's Ex" is a new anime series based on the light novel series written by Tobirano and illustrated by Mai Murasaki. The series is directed by Takayuki Kitagawa at LandQ studios, with assistant direction by Masakazu Sunagawa, series composition by Kenta Ihara, character designs by Akiko Sato and music by Kujira Yumemi.

Singer-songwriter Miyu Kumagawa as Myuk performs the ending theme "Marie" ("Dear Marie"). The song was written, composed, arranged, and produced by vocaloid song producer and singer-songwriter Guiano as his fourth collaboration with Myuk.

The opening song is "Gesshoku" by krage. The voice cast includes Rena Motomura, Daiki Hamano, Minami Tanaka, Ryohei Kimura, Yoko Hikasa and Sayaka Ohara.

"Betrothed to My Sister's Ex" premiered in Japan on July 4, 2025, and is now available for streaming via Crunchyroll in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia.

"Marie, the second daughter of a poor baron's household, is treated like a servant by her parents. Even at Marie's birthday party, her beautiful elder sister, Anastasia, is the star.
