"Outrageous" is a new British historical drama series created by Sarah Williams ("Becoming Jane", "Flesh and Blood") based on the true story of the Mitford sisters chronicled in Mary S. Lovell's biography "The Mitford Girls".
Set in the 1930s, the series follows six sisters who refused to play by the rules and whose often-scandalous lives made headlines around the world. The cast includes Bessie Carter, Isobel Jesper Jones, Joanna Vanderham, Shannon Watson, Zoe Brough, Orla Hill, Toby Regbo, Anna Chancellor and James Purefoy.
The series premiered on June 18, 2025 on BritBox in the US, and on June 19th on UKTV's free streaming platform U and U&DRAMA in the UK.
