H.A.D.E.S Zero is a narrative, fixed-camera survival horror that pays homage to the classics of the 1990s genre. Set deep within the H.A.D.E.S Charon research complex, the game puts you in the shoes of Nick Smith, a security agent who must survive the remains of a scientific facility collapsed after a biotechnological incident.
Facing aberrant enemies, scarce resources, and the vestiges of a corporate conspiracy, the player must navigate an environment where horror resides not only in the physical, but also in the ethical and existential. As you progress, you will discover classified documents and files that reveal the secrets behind the H.A.D.E.S(Human Advanced and Development Experimental Systems) project, the origin of the "Proto Alphas" (P.A), and the true price of altering the limits of human evolution.
