"The Ugly Stepsister" is a body horror movie written and directed by Emilie Blichfeldt in her directorial debut inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairy tale "Cinderella". The cast includes Lea Myren, Thea Sofie Loch Næss, Ane Dahl Torp and Flo Fagerli. The film premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival in the Midnight Section. It opened in select theaters on April 18, 2025, and on May 9th was released on digital platforms.
